Modern Drawing Class with Color with Vince Joseph
Class starts March 21 Tuesday for 8 weeks ending Tuesday May 9 - 8 sessions total - $120
Class will be an exploration of perception and imagination and how we express nature and ourselves with color.
We will explore new ways to look at nature and everything around us. At the beginning of the 20th Century art had a new emphasis on color perception and sensation. In this class we will explore our own sensations and imagination while drawing in color. During this class we will be drawing still life’s and interiors. Please bring what ever color materials you are comfortable drawing with: Acrylic paint, pastel, water color, oil crayon, your other choice (I would discourage colored pencils). Bring your choice of paper, canvas, cardboard. NO materials will be supplied; please bring your own. We will be guided by looking at some of the great artists of the 20C.
