A fundraiser to benefit arts education at TCFA, this event is a part of “The Big Draw Festival”, a worldwide drawing event.

Free and open to the public ($10 suggested donation)
With drawing materials provided for all participants, and featuring multiple still lives for all skill levels. Live music from 9pm to midnight. Also available all day are books on drawing, a scientific illustration table, self portrait station, community draw and light refreshments.

This event is made possible with the generous assistance of Finger Lakes ReUse and Up Country Antiques, as well as a grant from Tompkins County Community Arts Partnership.

 

SESSION 1 / Noon-4PM
Three still lifes: Basic, Intermediate & Advanced (materials provided by Finger Lakes Reuse and Up Country Antiques)
12-1pm Workshop with Anna Pausch “Drawing from the Inside Out”
1-2pm Workshop with Annie Campbell “Letting your Imagination FLY”
2-3pm Workshop with Don Ellis “Computer Graphics & Paint Brushes as Co-workers”

SESSION 2 / 4-8PM
On-going media presentation with Evan Stewart Eisenberg Three new still lifes: Basic, Intermediate & Advanced (materials provided by Finger Lakes ReUse and Up Country Antiques)

SESSION 3 / 9-MIDNIGHT
Staged figure drawing with two costumed models and live music
