This year’s annual TCFA Spring Art Show—Light & Shadows: A Transit through Seasons of Growth—will feature florals and landscape paintings by Marcia Eames-Sheavly of Trumansburg, and photographs with haikus by Rachel Dickinson of Freeville. The show opens with a reception on Saturday, May 17, 7pm, and will be open for viewing at specified hours thru Sunday, June 1.
On Sunday, May 25, 1pm, Rachel Dickinson will read selections from her work.
Ms. Eames-Sheavly has twice received awards from the American Horticultural Society for her teaching and outreach in the horticulture department at Cornell. An award-winning travel writer, Ms. Dickinson is the author of Falconer on the Edge: A Man, His Birds and the Vanishing Landscape of the American West.
